about

The Nar-Folr Aptrganga and the Barrow Mound
From the foreboding tower and battlements of this desolate yet haunted castle, there is a path downward into the barrow mounds of the royal warrior dead. The spirits of these dead nobles have been summoned and bound to objects of terror (such as skulls or rusted weapons) and within the tower of the castle, evoked and tainted with the Abyssic Darkness of our demonic art of Scinncraeft. The Necromantic rituals bind them to this withered realm and are twisted with the dark greenish fire of the death-realms of chaos, perfected as the undead, vampyres of the rotting dead given power to rise and prey upon those who enter the areas surrounding these barrow mounds.
The tortured and enhanced Haungbuar, called also Aptrganga and Draugar, are sent forth to their tombs to be bound in their corpses and rise again. The Nar-Folr (corpse-pale) Haungbuar are hel-blar (deathly-blue) and have been initiated and black arts of trollskap (witchcraft), attaining shape-shifting abilities, divination and controlling some aspects of the weather.
My Undead here serve a purpose as servants of Chaos and the Abyss surrounding and cradling this world. Descending into the barrow mound the atmosphere and illusion of the warrior-cult of ancient times, encircled now in the atmospheric terror and horror of the necromantic servants of the void, the children of the Nihtgenga who rules this realm.
The smell of decay and putrefaction permeates the entirety of the tomb, growing stronger as the curious human wanders deeper into the tunnel and this mound-tomb, stirring the Haunguar from fitful slumber to feed from the blood and flesh of its’ prey. Each soul which is devoured by the Haunguar restores some of the flesh and color for a short time, increasing the trollskap powers of the Scinnere in this undead form.
